Solana Mobile Phone Journey: Now Open to the Public!

 

The much-anticipated Solana mobile flagship Android phone “Saga” is finally accessible to the general market.  

Solana, for the time being, it is shipping to the United States (US), Canada, European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand (NZ) will begin. According to a published statement, the blockchain platform has begun to get good feedback regarding the phone’s interesting features.

What is Saga for mobile phones? 

“Saga is more than a phone. “With Seed Vault, a secure self-custody solution that secures your private keys through biometric verification and encryption,” the announcement reads, adding that “Saga users have access to decentralized applications without having to interact and sign transactions through their desktop web browser.” Saga arose from Anatoly Yakovenko’s desire to use a mobile computer long before Apple released the first iPhone.

What the Solana Labs Chief Executive Officer (CEO) says about Mobile devices? 

The Solana Labs Chief Executive Officer (CEO) disclosed the prospective debut of the mobile Android device in June 2022. It was touted as a phone with distinct functionality and featured tightly linked to the Solana network.

What features providing by the Saga to their Users? 

Potential phone users were informed that the phone could make transactions in web3, exchange tokens, mint Non-fungible tokens (NFTs), play on-chain games and access decentralized applications (dApps).

Saga mobile phone boasts a 6.6-inch display, 512 GB of storage, and private key security features. CoinGape recently recognized it as one of the best Web 3.0 phones with eye-catching characteristics. 

 “A professional mobile user interface which allows you to exchange tokens while standing in line for coffee, mint NFTs on your commute to work, and immediate access to the dApps from anywhere at any time, all powered by Android,” according to the phone’s description. 

According to some sources, the phone will be released in April. However, it is now accessible to preorder on the website. The news of its debut even drove the SOL token’s price to rise at launch.  

Saga mobile phone owners will be given a Saga Genesis token (NFT) when they set up their device now that it is ready. The token itself will be used to gain access to some of the DApps available on its app store.
