Polygon NFTs in demand

“Bringing the world to Ethereum.” This is the motto of Polygon, an Ethereum scaling solution whose side chain is popular in the crypto space for its fast and low fee transactions.

The project has not gone unnoticed. Major mainstream social media and technology companies are using Polygon’s network to release their Web3.0 products and services

REDDIT:

On July 7th, Reddit unveiled a Polygon based NFT marketplace, where users can purchase NFT avatars using crypto or fiat currencies.

The avatars are a limited edition collection of 90 featured design NFTs made by independent artists. Buyers will be given the right to use it on and off the platform.

Polygon was chosen by the company to host its NFTs due to its “low-cost transactions and environmentally friendly approach to development.”

META:

In May 2022, Instagram started a pilot program where U.S users can share Polygon, Ethereum, Flow and Solana NFTs on their accounts.

In June, Facebook also began testing the feature with users, to upload Polygon and Ethereum NFTs on their profiles.

HTC:

Recently, Taiwanese electronics giant HTC announced a partnership with Polygon to integrate Polygon support for its latest “metaverse phone”, the Desire 22 Pro.

The reason for Polygon’s popularity in the crypto and technology industry is because the network provides Ethereum-like services with faster and affordable transactions.

Polygon recently hired the former head of gaming at YouTube, Ryan Wyatt as the CEO of Polygon Studios, the gaming and NFT wing of the network.
