Hyundai Motor launches the first car-based NFT among automakers and highlights its Metaverse mobility solution
Hyundai Motor will be the first automaker to enter the community NFT market, including websites and channels on Discord and Twitter. Hyundai Motor today released a short film introducing the NFT universe "Metamobility Universe".

Hyundai Motor Company today announced that it is entering the online community-based non-fungible token market in partnership with Meta Kongz NFT. Hyundai Motor was the first automaker to enter the NFT market with its own NFT community, including Hyundai’s official NFT website, Discord channel and Twitter. The Hyundai NFT community will provide customers with a Hyundai branded experience in the metaverse by sharing the NFT that represents their mobility solution. The Hyundai NFT Discord and Twitter channels opened on April 15, and the official NFT website is expected to open in May.
By providing a dedicated channel for the Hyundai NFT community, the company will continue to manage the value of its NFT assets. The online platform will provide an open 24/7 channel for communication between the company and community members, with real-time updates on the value of its NFT assets.
Today, the company released a short film introducing the Hyundai NFT universe concept “Metamobility Universe”, reflecting the “metamobility” concept that was revealed at CES 2022. A reimagined modern legacy of the PONY series from earth to moon, visualizing how mobility solutions can be beyond space and time. The film at the end also shocked NFT in the form of a shooting star, which will be released in theaters in May.
Hyundai Motor will also release 30 limited edition Hyundai x Meta Kongz NFT on April 20 to mark the film’s release. The Hyundai NFT project continues throughout the year to further expand the Hyundai NFT world. The proceeds from the sale of Hyundai NFT will be used to manage projects and community members. “Hyundai NFT Universe will expand the Hyundai brand experience in completely new ways, especially with the MZ generation, and further strengthen our commitment to innovation in the real world and the metaverse,” said Thomas Shemera, Global Chief Marketing Officer, Hyundai Motor. and Head of the Customer Experience Department. “We are very excited to introduce Metamobility through our own NFT and to start this journey with Meta Kongz.”
Hyundai Motor Company shares its vision for the CES 2022 “metamobility” concept to create smart devices – a meta-universe connection that expands the role of mobility into virtual reality (VR) and ultimately empowers humans to enable them to overcome the physical limitations of movement in space and time.
