Google Partners With NEAR Protocol To Support Web3 Development

Google Cloud has entered into a partnership with NEAR Foundation, to provide infrastructure for developers building projects on NEAR Protocol’s Web3 startup, Pagoda, a Remote Procedure Call (RPC) node provider.

The partnership will allow Google’s open-source cloud services platform to provide technical support to Pagoda. The RPC node provider launched in February 2022, allows developers to easily deploy decentralized applications (DApps) on NEAR Protocol using a library of pre-audited, auto-generated smart contract user interfaces.

This partnership marks a new chapter for us as we continue to offer the best support possible for the next generation of visionaries choosing to build on the NEAR protocol,” said Marieke Flament, CEO of NEAR Foundation.

NEAR Protocol is a developer-friendly proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain network that is designed to host decentralized applications (DApps).

Google Cloud established its Digital Assets wing in January to help customers create, trade, store value and launch new products on blockchain-based platforms. Since launch, Google’s cloud infrastructure has been utilized by blockchain companies including Binance, Dapper Labs, Theta Labs and Hedera.
