The NFTs offered holders a chance to talk with Hopkins over a Zoom call and also receive autographed artwork painted by the actor.

Damien Hirst is burning paintings that are part of his “The Currency” NFT collection. The collection which was launched last year features 10,000 unique artwork NFTs accompanied by an original painting. Hirst gave collectors the option of either keeping possession of the original painting or the digital collectible.

Yuga Labs is being investigated by the SEC for potential violation of U.S securities laws related to sale and distribution of Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFTs and the ApeCoin tokens. The company has promised to cooperate with authorities during the investigation.

DeGods is switching its ‘y00ts’ and ‘t00bs’ collections to a 0% royalty model. The company will no longer charge royalty fees when purchasing NFTs. DeGods predicts all marketplaces to adopt the model in the future to remain competitive in the industry.

Liquidation firm Teneo has moved 383 NFTs belonging to the crypto hedge fund in order to be liquidated. Three Arrows Capital filed for bankruptcy in July after facing liquidity issues. The company which managed assets worth $10 billion, owes $2.8 billion in debt to creditors.

Bored Ape creators Yuga Labs has introduced a community council for the NFT project. The council will be made of seven prominent Bored Ape collectors who will engage with the community and propose ideas to help grow the project. Yuga Labs plans to expand the council to its other projects, CryptoPunks, Meetbits and Otherside.
