Alibaba Cloud has entered the metaverse by constructing Metaverse Launchpad on the Avalanche blockchain platform.

 

What is the aim of Alibaba Cloud Metaverse?

The Alibaba Cloud Metaverse Launchpad aims to make creating decentralized applications (dApps) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in the metaverse easier. The metaverse is a virtual world in which users can communicate with one another, buy and sell virtual items, and engage in various activities. As the metaverse increases in popularity, infrastructure to support it is needed, which is where Alibaba Cloud’s Avalanche Metaverse Launchpad comes in.

The Cloudverse launchpad is intended to give an end-to-end platform for businesses to customize and maintain their metaverse spaces to experiment with new ways of engaging with their consumers.

What are Avalanche and Alibaba Cloud platforms providing?

Avalanche will supply the technology for creating the metaverse places, while Alibaba Cloud will provide computing and storage.
This is Alibaba’s second collaboration with a network using blockchain technology in less than a month, following an agreement with Mysten Labs, the creator of the Sui Layer 1 blockchain technology, to supply node services to validators on the network’s testnet.
